  1. Advocate on members behalf for clarity on Alternative Business Structures (ABS) from SK government and Law Society of Saskatchewan – balanced and nuanced approach to protect public and members’ interests
  2. Advocate on members behalf for clarity on Legal Technicians from government and Law Society of Saskatchewan – balanced and nuanced approach to protect public and members’ interests

                                                                                                           

ACCESS TO JUSTICE & CITIZENS RIGHTS

  1. Explore with SK government and other legal providers access to justice problems and how to alleviate them
  2. Encourage and advocate for a properly funded, efficient and accessible judicial system

 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  1. Continuing skills development, especially in junior lawyers
  2. Retain, promote and encourage greater diversity within Saskatchewan litigation lawyers
  3. Increasing membership

 

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  1. Operational needs and implement succession plan
  2. Expand social media presence
